I am a Helsinki-based visual artist. My artistic practice falls in the expanded field of painting and sculpture. At the core of my practise is my growing interest towards new materialist ways of working and space-sensitive thinking. I work through the lens of queer experience, with a recurring theme of metamorphosis. My work delves into the multitudinous ways in which objects can exist, challenging conventional notions of identity and representation. In my quest to unravel these complexities, I envision a series of works that seamlessly blend sculpture and painting within a spatial context, pushing the boundaries of both disciplines.

In addition to my solo practice, I´m interested in collective, process-focused and synergistic working, as well as showing my site-specific works also outside of conventional exhibition contexts. I hold an MFA degree from the University of the Arts Helsinki, Academy of Fine Arts, and an MA degree from the Aalto University School of Arts, Design and Architecture.
